I am just a wee bit too excited to start this adventure! I have had lots of people ask me why I decided to serve a mission... Why would I want to leave everything behind for a year and a half?
Well folks, I'll tell you why. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. So true. I can't even begin to tell you how much joy it brings to me and my family! That glow that everyone always talk about us "mormons" having? THAT is joy people. True, true joy. That joy comes from the truth and knowledge I have. I know that Christ lives and that He loves you and me and everyone. I want to share his love. I want to bring that joy to everyone I know or even those people I don't know! I really just want to scream it at the top of my lungs from the rooftops, but that may not go over so well so I may just have to stick to serving a mission. I want everyone to have the same opportunity I have to be truly happy. So here I go, for a year and a half. Such a small sacrifice to share what I believe and bring that same joy to the people of FRANKFURT GERMANY!
