Okay. If those Aspen Grove letters weren't the cutest thing in the entire world? Then I don't know what is. A thousand thanks to you all! I can't believe you actually carried around a giant picture of me. Are you the best? Yep. You are the best. I have been keeping my Aspen Grove spirit up here doncha even worry. I think I have worn the Aspen Grove T-shirt a few too many times this week.... my comps may be questioning my lack of clothes... haha but really. I love ya and miss ya but I am SO glad to be here.
Last week I kinda threw a little ps about my companions but they really deserve wayyyyy more tribute than that. I could talk about them all the day long. In the mission you are assigned a companion that you are with literally 24/7. You do not leave their side. Ever. I get to have two? How lucky am I? A lot of people think that a tripanionship would be a bad thing... It's really not. It's actually the best thing that could have happened to me.
Sister Williams is the ONLY person in the ENTIRE mission (that I know of) who hasn't taken 5 billion years of German or is fluent. Talk about an instant bond. There we are just struggling together and becoming the best of friends. She has made so many sacrifices to be here! A car accident just a month ago? Miracle. Then we add sister Whalquest to the mix after Sister Esheman got transferred. EVEN BETTER. Her mom's German so she is basically a walking dictionary. She became a member just two short years ago and already has such a string testimony that she is willing to leave her unsupportive family to bring others the same joy she received! HOW COOL RIGHT? Definitely an inspired companionship. Heavenly Father totally planned this one. That's for sure.
My district (or class I spend the majority of my time with) is tiny. And perfect. And great. It is just me and my companions and one other companionship of two elders. Elder Taylor is a genius. Mark my word he will be a millionaire someday. He got a 36 on his ACT!! Perfect score? Say what? ( Ben and Daniel IT IS POSSIBLE. That big mac is in your grasp ;)) and he is so humble about it! He didn't even tell us that.. His friend did.. and he kept being all bashful about it... whatta cutie. And then get this. I was saying how I really was craving some banana bread... so he writes to his mom and SHE SEND US BANANA BREAD. Umm okay. You're awesome. And then Elder Fitzgerald? The most gentlemanly sweet-to-the-core boy I have ever met. He always takes my tray for me and opens doors and thinks to walk us back to our apartment (when we are on the MTC grounds and I am pretty sure we are fairly saffe ;)) Sweetest. Both of their testimonies are THROUGH THE ROOF.
Needless to say. Heavenly Father is surrounding me by the best of people and I so need it. A new song was written especially for sister missionaries and we sang it on Sunday. All together. So good.

We'll share our glad message with all who will hear!
