well. that was great. and I now feel like I am walking on air from all the inspiration I received this weekend. We felt like we were waiting for a midnight premier to start...sitting there in the english room... it was like a big ol' missionary party waiting for the best movie marathon ever. And then I just imagined you all at home sitting there with your conference bingo and goody bags snuggled up on the couch with every blanket and pillow in the house. You had swedish fish right? That's a must.
I. love. conference. But really. What all did you think about it? It really hit me this time around how different everyone is and how everyone can get something completely different out of it. Different themes or different favorites or different inspiration or different things to work on. Pretty much we are just all different and I love it. So send me your thoughts so I can learn more from it. okay? okay. As for me?
The mission thing definitely puts a whole different feel on it. Every talk I just kept thinking 'Oh this is so perfect for so-and-so and Oh my goodness sister, Elkin and Ruano better be watching this... he is talking in Spanish right now! ' yeah..... But I have really been thinking about light lately. I have been studying that concept like crazy. I mean crazy. You should see my scriptures...We have decided to add a new Christlike attribute to work on which is The Glow Attribute. And I am determined to glow. Not just semi-glow. But like really glow. And then if I glow, people will just automatically be drawn to me and want light for themselves and then I won't even have to talk to people... fool proof plan eh? And so when Pres. Uchtdorf got up and started talking about light me and sis. T were like giddy little school girls. Like he is German and he is talking about light? This could not be more perfect. I am detertmined to be a beacon of light. And 'Gaining spiritual light is a quest of a lifetime.'
So my quest begins today. Get ready. I am going to come home from this mission glowing so hard you won't even know what to do. I am going to be so obedient. So pure. So humble. That the light of Christ literally comes to me and immediately bounces back. Shines out of every fiber of my being. I want to reflect gospel truths as I am walking down the street. I have a long way to go I know..... but I gotta start somewhere. Today.

I have a new found respect for the chinese culture and the fact that they spend an hour and a half creating a simple meal...
Due to conference and the fact that we live so far north we got to have an impromptu sleepover with the Herrne Sisters. You know the type of sleepovers that you go to bed at 10:30 and wake up at 6:30 to do missionary work.. So much fun. hehe but really it was.
Fall has officially begun. Actually it began a long time ago... but now it is October so I give my permission that the leaves can start falling and it can be cold.
