Do It Philosophy.

GAH Let me just tell you how stinkin happy I am right now. This mission thing is the best deal I ever landed. We switched gears this week and studied work. Real hard. And man oh man it's the best.

I have decided I am real good at working hard when I have a good motto. And a Good comp. And it helps when President calls you every week stealing your ideas. hehe Seriously. We started doing this thing where we are implementing the 5 R's Everyday which include- Rapidly Find, Readily Teach, Really Baptize, Reactivate, And Retain. And it's the best thing that happened to us. All of a sudden we are ready and raring to go. We can see specific things that we are doing and feel like we are making a difference in this work. And then at the bottom of my planner we wrote: Did we bring them closer to Christ? and we re-evaluate each lesson to see if it seemed successful or not. And now President Stoddard is calling emergency zone trainings across the mission to implement it and Sister Johnson is now the most famous sister in the mission. Along with my training tips that were announced in the golden trainers meeting last week. hehe okay. okay. Getting too prideful over here.

So we are coming up with all these fancy ideas and just going strong and focusing on what we have control over... and all these wonderful things kept happening. I wish I had time to give you specifics but  basically it all boils down to one thing that I know you have been waiting to hear this your entire life.. Thank you mom for teaching me to work hard. All those times... rewashing the dishes or getting an 'extra' job for not getting my normal chores done on time. Thank you. Thank you. Thank You. I owe you one.

'Work is the therapy for most problems. It is the antidote for worry. It makes it possible for the average to approach genius. If you are poor, work. If you are happy, work. Idleness gives room for doubts and fears. If disappointments come keep right on working. If sorrow overwhelms you, work. When faith falters and reasons fail, just work. When dreams are shattered and hope seems dead, work. Work as if your life were in peril for it really is.  No matter what ails you, work. Work faithfully for work is the greatest remedy available for both mental and physical afflictions.'

How's that for a pep talk huh? So here is my challenge for you this week: Commit yourself to not only the pursuit of happiness but the happiness of pursuit. Become motivated by 'a higher ideal than simply meeting the artificial standard of a society which has allowed inferior performance to be accepted.' Or in other words. Work. Just Do it.

Wishing you a week full of humongous happinesses and grateful hearts.
