Today is the Day.

Today is the day I will open my mouth. I will shout from the rooftops the truth will come out and I'll share my soul through the words that I speak with the love that has made me this way.
Yes today is the day I proclaim what I believe.

Actually that's everyday. But especially this week as we worked to conquer our fears. Most specifically the fear of talking to complete strangers, all the time, about the no-no topic of religion, to a group of people who look at you like you are crazy just from giving them a half smile. And I can say... we did it. I still have a long way to go but it was incredible to see the difference in my attitude of talking to people. 'Should I talk to them? Well it is talk to everyone week so yes. ' My in head battle became about 83547583 times shorter because we stopped thinking about it and just did it.

And I am not sure how this happened but our potential pool of people interested in the gospel just exploded. Litterally trippled. We were just sitting there plannning trying to do whatever Heavenly Father wanted us to do and we decided to call everyone in our phone that we didn't know and ask if they had interest. There we are. Switching off back and forth getting chewed out by a few but somehow we hit a major jackpot. So much so that I don't even know where to put them all. Talk about Heavenly Father pouring out blessings that there won't be room enough to receive them. Ah. Why is Heavenly Father so great?

To top off our talk to everyone week we decided to finish strong and last night we set a goal, got off the bus and just said 'okay go' and bam. Talking to the world. One of the strangest thrills. We ended up talking to an athiest student about God for 20 minutes and he was so determined not to listen to us and yet he kept staying and listening to us. Come on you can't deny you are feeling something. He asked so many questions. And you could see the wheels turning in his head. All the what ifs sinking in...

We have this little group of Asian students that we are teaching and it just keeps multiplying as they bring more and more friends with them to our appointments. They are all searching to find out if God is really there. It is the neatest thing. They always comment on the light and joy we have.  And kneeling down together hearing someone pray for the very first time in their life to find out if God is really there and if someone is listening? Oh man. That is something I way took for granted. An indescribable feeling. And then my heart just explodes with love after.

God is there. And He love you. Wir sind Kinder Gottes.
